In recent years BCS has been developing and marketing database extensions (or plug-ins) that considerably improve database performance for certain technology applications. Three such products, the Grid DataBlade, DBXten, and the Universal File Interface are described in the first three panels above, in more than twenty articles in our Documentation section, and via Product Demos (see the fourth panel above).
We designed these database plug-ins to help some of our customers (technologists such as scientists, engineers, medical researchers, defense and civilian technicians, university professors, and financial services analysts) get their jobs done more effectively and efficiently. BCS has completed more than 450 software development projects in the past 33 years, and this experience and familiarity with customer requirements proved invaluable when developing database extensions and other BCS software products.
